Grant Manager at MultiPark

We are currently seeking a committed and proactive Grant Manager to support us in identifying key funding opportunities and applying for major research grants, particularly at the European level. We also require support in identifying and securing large-scale funding to establish national competence centres and graduate schools. You will routinely collaborate with researchers, administrative staff, and legal personnel. In short, you will play a central role in connecting stakeholders within our environment and be involved in the design and monitoring of applications and awarded grants.

Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying suitable funding opportunities (national, European, international), including collecting all necessary information for the application process.
  • Compiling applications, with responsibility for authoring selected sections.
  • Reporting on major projects and grants.
  • Compiling information on awarded grants for various stakeholders and databases, such as Lund University’s Current Research Information System (LUCRIS).

Other relevant tasks may also be assigned.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • PhD in medicine, natural sciences, or related disciplines.
  • Documented experience in authoring scientific texts.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Experience with the full lifecycle of research grants, including proposal writing, project coordination, and both financial and scientific reporting.
  • Ability to independently prioritize tasks while meeting external deadlines in a calm and structured manner.
  • Strong emphasis will be placed on personal attributes. The role requires excellent collaboration skills and a service-oriented mindset. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as is a genuine interest in supporting researchers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a principal or co-applicant for research grants.
  • Prior administrative experience within European research consortia.
  • Own research experience in areas relevant to MultiPark, especially if it has resulted in first-author publications.

Additional Information

The position is a full-time, fixed-term employment for one year, starting no earlier than December 1, 2025, or by agreement. A lower employment rate than 100% (but no less than 80%) may be considered for exceptional reasons. Top-ranked candidates will be invited to an interview at Lund University approximately 2–3 weeks before the final decision is made.

How to Apply

Applications should be submitted via Lund University's recruitment system. Your application must include a personal letter explaining your interest in the position and how your qualifications and experience align with the role. Please also attach a CV, degree certificates or equivalent, and any additional documents you wish to include (e.g., copies of academic transcripts, contact details for references, letters of recommendation, etc.).
