Access
To gain access to the Rodent Stereotactic Surgery platform, users must contact and receive an introduction from the platform manager Susanne Geres (susanne [dot] geres [at] med [dot] lu [dot] se).
In addition, the user must have undergone the introductions and passed the courses required by CCM to work in their facility. To use this platform, users should also take the Aseptic Surgical Technique course for laboratory rodent surgeons offered by CCM. As a reminder, the user's research group must hold a valid ethical permit that includes the experiments that will be performed when using this platform. These requirements are the user's responsibility.
Booking
The surgery stations can be booked via TimeEdit after receiving access to the platform. Users can book multiple stations per session, if desired. For example, all three stations can be booked in one session if a user wishes to book the entire room.
User fees
Users are charged per session and per booked station.
- Half day session (< 4 hours long): 500 SEK per station
- Full day session (≥ 4 hours): 1000 SEK per station
