Drug Candidate Screening TPG

Small molecule libraries

Small molecular libraries are available to screen for in vivo and in vitro systems. Likewise, a robotics equipment has been developed for high throughput screening.

In vitro screening

Protocols to establish cell culture systems (neuron, glia and microglia). Advice and technical help is offered to set up a patient-personalized approach in the screening process, based on the use of human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).

In vivo screening

Disease models in mouse and rat are well-established and verified with a robust battery of behavioral tests.

Receptor occupancy and drug tissue distribution

Produces data essential to assess the efficacy of drug candidates. This technique allow for assessment of both levels of drug candidates and the corresponding receptor occupancy in specific brain regions.
