Neuroscience Day 2026
Register to attend a day full of neuroscience research from experts and students from diverse neuroscience branches!
Welcome to this year’s Neuroscience Day that will take place on Thursday, May 7 in the Skåne University Hospital Aula in Lund (Entrégatan 7, Lund)!
Students and researchers will have the opportunity to choose whether they would like to give a poster presentation. Two travel stipends of 8000 SEK will be awarded to the best poster and the best poster presentation. The deadline to send in an abstract is April 22.
In addition, students will also have the choice whether to attend the party, which will be held the same evening from 18:00 to 23:00 in Bryggan in the Ingvar Kamprad Design Center.
This year’s lineup of confirmed speakers (with links to their universities’ profile pages) includes:
- Miia Kivipelto (Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society, Karolinska Institute)
- Laia Montoliu Gata (Department of Psychiatry and Neurochemistry, the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg)
- Mackenzie Mathis (Brain Mind Institute & Neuro X Institute, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne)
- Gustav Nilsonne (Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Karolinska Institutet)
- And for the 2026 Segerfalk Lecture: Gillian Bates (Huntington’s Disease Center and Department of Neurodegenerative Disease, UCL)
